Our Mission
KVMPA provides an education experience through career exploration. Students work with a business model and learn through a hands on, real life experience of working on a team as an entrepreneur. Allowing students to see the success they have in various career roles now, helps them imagine themselves in future careers. When this happens, the connection to school improves. ​
Students have to address problems regularly, requiring consistent practice in critical thinking, responsibility and teamwork. They build solutions, test results and make alterations throughout their classes. Teachers work alongside the students in a coaching manner. We support and guide, with the intent to strengthen resiliency in each student as they see the growth they are having.
Beyond the business model, students work with the staff to develop various projects that meet integrated curriculum requirements. Focused on career exploration and the content that different careers are based on, students are able to meet standards in an efficient way.

In this model, students can show their understanding of the curriculum as they apply it to the work they are doing. We offer the entrepreneur experience in agriculture, culinary arts, carpentry, and graphic design.
